Kelly Moore

Summer Symphony

Kelly Moore, violist, is an educator and chamber musician in the greater Seattle area. Kelly is passionate about teaching, and is co-founder of Juniper Music School, where she has a vibrant private studio of young violinists and violists. Kelly has attended the Indiana University Teacher Training Retreat led by renowned pedagogue Mimi Zweig, and has also attended Suzuki teacher training with Cathy Lee. After several years of being a faculty member for the Icicle Creek Summer Symphony, Kelly is so excited to be taking on the role as director this coming summer.

Kelly is a core member of North Corner Chamber Orchestra, a conductorless ensemble based in Seattle. She is also a founding member of the Ravenna String Quartet, which performs with various local artists in addition to their own recitals. After completing her undergraduate degree at Central Washington University, Kelly went on to complete a Performance Certificate at the University of Southern California, and then earned a Diploma in Chamber Music Studies from the University of Illinois. Outside of music, Kelly enjoys gardening, knitting, and playing video games!
