Spring Bird Fest Art Exhibition Call for Entry
Icicle Creek Center for the Arts, in collaboration with the Wenatchee River Institute and the 2018 Leavenworth Spring Bird Fest, invites submissions for the exhibition “Pacific Northwest Birds and their Habitats.” This juried art exhibition serves as an opportunity for a diverse range of artists to display their work in the Snowy Owl Theater during the celebrated 2018 Leavenworth Spring Bird Fest. Artists of all mediums that are ready for wall hanging are encouraged to submit work for consideration to this juried show.
The 15-20 piece “Pacific Northwest Birds and their Habitats” exhibition will be juried and curated by Icicle Creek Center for the Arts, Wenatchee River Institute and a local professional artist. The collection of work will be on display in the Snowy Owl Theater April 27-May 20, 2018 in celebration of the Leavenworth Spring Bird Fest, with a reception scheduled for May 17 from 5:00-7:00pm.
Artists over the age of 18 residing in Grant, Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan Counties are encouraged to apply. Submitted pieces must be 36″x36″ or smaller and received by March 2, 2018.

The mission of the Leavenworth Spring Bird Fest is to provide educational and recreational activities focusing on birds, wildlife, and their habitats. This annual event promotes the awareness of conservation issues affecting our area, while also providing an educational and economic benefit to the community. It also connects with International Migratory Bird Day and includes a multi-cultural aspect linked to our Latin American neighbors.
