Community Events at Icicle Creek

ARC Dance Company is pleased to host a summer residency July 27–31 at Leavenworth’s Icicle Creek Center for The Arts in preparation for Summer Season 2026, a
concert which will be performed August 6 – 8 at the Erickson Theatre in Seattle.

The residency offers an inside look at the Company in class and rehearsal. The public is invited to view the Company throughout the Leavenworth residency, Monday through Friday, July 27 – 31, 11am – 1pm. We hope the local and surrounding communities, as well as guests staying at Sleeping
Lady Mountain Resort, drop in to observe ARC in action.

“We are thrilled to have a summer residency on the beautiful campus of Icicle Creek Center for the arts and Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort. When ARC performed in 2022 at Icicle Creek’s Snowy Owl Theater, it was magical. I can feel the enthusiasm of the choreographers and dancers as we prepare to return to Leavenworth for our week’s residency,” said Artistic Director Marie Chong.

The performances in Seattle on August 6 – 8 include three premier dance works by choreographers Rena Butler (NYC), Marika Brussel (London, UK), and Marie Chong (ARC) as well as the reprise of Stephanie Rae William’s (Dance Theatre of Harlem), Garden of Love (2021), an audience favorite. This summer program marks ARC’s 28th season in Seattle and the first time it is
presenting in the Erickson Theatre.
