Icicle Creek Selected as NCWMEA "Friend of Music" Recipient!

We’re excited to announce Icicle Creek Center for the Arts has been selected as this year’s North Central WMEA “Friend of Music” recipient. Representing music educators from Moses Lake to Omak, Quincy to Leavenworth, Chelan, Wenatchee, and the schools in between, NCWMEA is one of the largest geographical music regions in the state.

“We appreciate all the work you and your staff have done to advocate for music and the arts in our communities, and for providing so many spectacular educational opportunities, particularly through the Visiting Artist Series and the summer camp offerings. Ensuring students are able to engage with these outside opportunities affordably is especially appreciated by our teachers, who see so many students who want more experience but don’t always have the means. One thing I personally think about every year is our fall jazz workshop – it’s such an incredible chance for our jazz students to be able to perform in facilities like the Snowy Owl Theater!
