Icicle Creek Summer Symphony June 23-29
An inspiring and intensive week of orchestral study and performance in a spectacular North Cascade Mountain setting. Under the leadership of acclaimed music directors and coaches, this program allows talented young musicians to participate in intermediate and advanced musical studies. The 4-1 student-coach ratio allows for personal artistic growth and enables young musicians to take their talent and interest to the next level. The atmosphere is challenging and at the same time, highly supportive.
Icicle Creek Chamber Music Institute July 7-28 Concurrent with the Chamber Music Festival, the Institute brings students and young professionals to the Icicle Creek campus for intensive study and performance with resident and guest artists. The Institute and Festival create a community of musicians whose musical explorations produce concerts for the public to enjoy. The students and young professionals of the Institute participate in festival concerts as the Institute Chamber Orchestra and are featured in afternoon concerts of selected chamber masterworks.
Young Artist Theatre Camp July 28- August 3 An extraordinary overnight and day camp for aspiring young actors, directors and playwrights ages 7 - 20, this camp is a weeklong training ground. Talented students come together to learn from an amazing team of theater professionals working in Seattle, New York and on Broadway. All classes, masterclasses and workshops cater to each student's specific needs and skill levels by creating a safe and nurturing environment for all kids to express themselves creatively through theater.
Young Pianists Festival August 4-11 Designed by the Artistic Director Oksana Ezhokina, this program welcomes young aspiring pianists, ages 13-18, for a week long session of individual lessons, practice, masterclasses, workshops, and inspiring nature hikes in the spectacular Cascade Mountains and outings to the Bavarian village of Leavenworth.
