Mercy joined ICCA as a board member in August of 2022 to lend her passion for the arts and background in finance and property management to the organization. Mercy spent her career in real estate development until 2015 when she moved with her family to Costa Rica. She and her husband, Canuche, developed Villas Espavel, a small vacation rental property in the lovely beach town of Samara, Costa Rica. Mercy and Canuche enjoyed hosting guests from all over the world and raising their kids in Costa Rica, but in 2018 decided to return to the NW. They chose Leavenworth for the vibrant community and beautiful four seasons.
Mercy enjoys teaching Pilates at Awake Bodies, volunteering for the Cascade PTSA, helping to support the school district with fundraising for the arts, promoting the activities of ICCA, spending time with her kids and four legged friends and getting outside as much as possible.
