Ellen is the President of the Icicle Creek Center for the Arts Board and brings her 20+ years of corporate legal experience of advising both publicly-traded companies, including Expedia Group and Symetra Life Insurance, and non-profit organizations, including the American Red Cross and the Northwest Girlchoir. Originally from the East Coast, Ellen and her family were drawn to Washington and its many treasures over a decade ago and are delighted to call Leavenworth home since 2015. She believes that art, beyond its creative expression, helps to expand our understanding of humanity, discover our interconnectedness and encourage healthy and thoughtful discourse.
Ellen and her family enjoy skiing, biking, and floating the river, as well as participating in community happenings and enjoying the variety of programs offered by the Icicle Creek Center for the Arts, the Wenatchee River Institute, and at the Leavenworth Ski Hill.
