Dan is a recently retired partner of an international accounting firm and serves ICCA as a Board member and Treasurer. During his career, he served clients across substantially all industries and in a national office role until he accepted an early retirement. Dan has also served non-profit entities such as Habitat for Humanity of East King County, as Treasurer and then as President, where he led the merger with Habitat for Humanity of Seattle to eliminate redundant costs and thus best serve the housing needs in the Seattle area. Dan has extensive fundraising experience to support non-profits such as the American Cancer Society and the ALS Association, combining his support for those causes, his athletic pursuits and the generous support of many others to those causes.
In his retirement, Dan enjoys focusing on his health and fitness, running trails, cycling and playing in an occasional soccer tournament – although at a slower pace commensurate with his age. 😊
Dan’s involvement with ICCA began with his experiences in Leavenworth, specifically with ICCA events and programs. He recognized the natural fit between the areas of his experience and the needs of ICCA and he takes particular satisfaction in helping to ensure ICCA’s sustainability. He also enjoys frequent trips to Leavenworth and the diversity of outdoor experiences here.
