Jim Briggs joined the board in 2015. He is a lover of music – classical and jazz – and volunteers regularly at a premier jazz festival in his part-time home in Ellensburg, Wash. He also lives part-time in Leavenworth. For much of his career he served as a Cooperative Extension Agent for Cornell University in New York, where he lived in the Adirondacks and participated frequently with the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts. Briggs relishes the contact Icicle Creek fosters with people who make a difference in Washington, particularly in the arts.
