Pacific Northwest writer, filmmaker and musician Jamie Howell came to Icicle Creek in the summer of 2014. He served as Technical Director for one year, before going into the role of Development Director. He also serves as Artistic Director for Film, curating the documentary film series and building the film education program’s Young Filmmakers Camps and a variety of filmmaking workshops.
Jamie started his career as a journalist and editor before moving into documentary film production and founding Howell at the Moon Productions. His documentary productions have garnered two Northwest Emmy nominations and a host of film festival awards, along with an award-winning body of television and online commercial productions. In addition, he played guitar, sang and wrote with the musical group Fathappy for 12 years. He is currently at work on two novels and lives in Wenatchee with his wife, Nena.
